La mia storia
Studi
Laurea in Medicina e Chirurgia presso l’Università degli Studi di Firenze (1984) Specializzazione in: Chirurgia Generale, Urologia, Chirurgia Vascolare
Nel 1998, essendomi da sempre interessato alla flebologia, alla diagnostica vascolare e al trattamento delle lesioni cutanee, mi venne offerto il trasferimento dalla Chirurgia Generale alla Chirurgia Vascolare dell’Ospedale di Prato, allora “Misericordia e Dolce”.
Nel 2003, dopo una notevole esperienza chirurgica sul campo, mi sono trasferito presso la Casa di Cura Villa Fiorita che mi avrebbe permesso di svolgere la mia attività in regime di convenzione come Responsabile della “Unità Funzionale di Chirurgia Generale 2”.
Centro di Chirurgia delle ulcere vascolari, poi Centro Vulnologico
Nasce sempre nel 2003, diventa Centro Vulnologico per l’estensione del trattamento alle ulcere non vascolari
U.O. Diabetologia dell’Ospedale di Prato
Collaborazione che ha permesso di acquisire specifica esperienza nella chirurgia demolitiva e ricostruttiva del piede diabetico, che ha portato con il tempo alla riduzione del numero delle amputazioni maggiori.
U.F. di Chirurgia Generale, delle Ulcere e del Piede Diabetico
Attualmente formata da tre chirurghi e un angiologo che si interessano esclusivamente di queste patologie
Inoltre mi occupo di flebologia (chirurgica e non), di linfedema, lipedema e diagnostica vascolare ecocolordoppler, estesa a tutti i distretti vascolari.
